Job Description Core Responsibilities• Reconciling all components of the trial balance for the invested assets including but not limited to book/market value, accruals and amortization.• Preparing reconciliations between the Clearwater system and custody positions, cash reconciliations.• Monitoring trade and corporate action activity.• Providing support for non AB managed mandates.• Balance Sheet Accountability within Blackline including but not limited to account grouping and account sign off• Preparing various STAT and GAAP regulatory schedules.Skills:• Ability to work autonomously, independently solution and be a thought leader within the team.• Experience with the SAP ledger: creating journal entries, running ledger/FPSL queries• Basic knowledge of investments and related accounting. • Basic knowledge of STAT and GAAP accounting.• Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.• Thorough understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Workday, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a focus on strategic decision-making.• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting complex financial information to senior leadership.• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Strong relationship management skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners like reinsurers and brokers. Qualifications • Education: Graduate degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Experience:o Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in insurance or investment and US regulatory reporting
