About the Role :
As the Senior Consultant - Performance, you will consult to our top tier client base to develop and deliver high calibre solutions. The role will be a mixture of onsite technical strategic delivery, operational leadership within the Performance practice
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A proven track record in managing large successful teams
- Strong Test Management experience covering all areas of SDLC/STLC across multiple industries
- An expertise understanding of Object-Oriented development practices
- A very high capability in delivering high quality performance testing solutions with tools such as J Meter, Load Runner, Neoload, Scripting tools
- Hands on experience with Tuning, Estimation, Capacity Management
- Have a strong understanding of Business Risk Identification over Traditional Performance testing
- Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and implement innovative solutions
- An aptitude for best practice development standards
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Knowledge of business and people management
You must know how to architect and develop highly scalable, robust and maintainable solutions and lead successful teams and projects within traditional, Agile and scaled Agile environments.

- Drive internal initiatives to foster a collaborative innovation and learning culture
- Analyse, design, build scalable and robust quality engineering solutions both internally for Planit and our clients in the areas of:
- Performance Engineering,
- Agile,
- Site Reliability
- Observability
- DevOps,
- Cloud Engineering (AWS / Azure / GCP),
- Innovation ,
- Manage stakeholder expectations, keeping them informed throughout the project.
- Work closely with the Melbourne leadership team and global practice leads
- Work across multiple clients delivering strategic and tactical solutions and pre-sales work
- Be an active member in Planit’s Community of Practice for Performance, which includes:
- Running workshops and training as part of our overall L&D program
- Have overall responsibility for performance delivery across all projects.
- Be responsible for contracts negotiations and profitability for the region
Responsibilities:
The role will require you to work with account directors and business development teams to provide technical guidance on proposals. Additionally, you will assist with staff mentoring, development, recruitment support, and global innovation projects. This is a technical role requiring a strong development background, an understanding of Performance Testing, DevOps concepts, Site Reliability and Observability practices.
