JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to lead efforts in ensuring compliant billing practices for drugs and pharmacy services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys translating complex regulations into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

  • Monitor evolving regulations and identify key operational changes needed to maintain compliance in drug and pharmacy billing.
  • Develop timely educational modules, resource tools, and training programs to support compliant billing practices across our facilities.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary corporate teams to standardize billing practices for federally funded and commercial payers, with a focus on NDC and drug waste reporting.
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures that support government billing compliance, and monitor adherence across the organization.
  • Identify high-risk areas and lead efforts to implement operational standardization to reduce exposure and improve billing accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and follow-up to facilities when potential billing compliance issues are identified through national reviews or self-reported concerns.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Doctorate’s degree PharmD or RPh is required; must be a licensed pharmacist.
  • Master’s or Graduate degree in Business Family is preferred.
  • Three or more years’ experience in compliance, clinical practice and/or billing is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working on cross-functional teams to drive change while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerBI.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment, resolve conflicts, facilitate process evaluations, and promote collaboration and compromise.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
