The Role
We’re seeking to engage a Senior Consultant, SJ Global Academy to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director, SJ Global Academy; and will spend your time designing & delivering identified L&D initiatives, managing projects, and collaborating with key stakeholders globally to deliver the identified initiatives in line with the business strategy.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivers the agreed program of work including scope and alignment to strategy;
- Plans and scopes project plans, including identity stakeholders, timelines, implementation, change management required and association to other projects to ensure buy in;
- Manages the approval process of project plans up to Core Group and GCEO;
- Develops communications plans for rollout of all programs, including “who, what and when”;
- Identifies associations and impact on other Group OD and Group P&C projects at a Group and Regional level, current and future state;
- Identifies risk and opportunity for the project in planning, current and future state.
- Conducts needs analysis across all business units and brands, identifies gaps, diagnoses solutions and recommends best for business approach;
- Consults, engages and manages vendors for some programs, taking a co-design or full design and delivery approach;
- Designs learning programs (some instructional design) using adult learning principles including the 70/20/10 approach, as well as different learning modalities;
- Facilitates learning and leadership programs either in face-to-face workshops or virtual;
- Program manages the design and delivery from end to end including success management and measurement and reporting.
- Proactively connects with P&C, Business Lines and Business Function Leads where appropriate, to ensure a strong knowledge of their business, their framework, program and tools currently in use;
- Develops strong and effective relationships to support effective collaboration, communication, change management and gaining buy in;
- Fosters a culture of confidence in Group P&C and OD abilities through provision of high-quality support, dedication and consistent application of high professional standards.
Suitable applicants will be/ have:
- Cert IV in Training and Workplace Assessment and equivalent experience;
- Related tertiary qualification highly regarded;
- Relevant experience ideally in a learning and organisational development role within a professional consulting industry, preferably on a global scale;
- Functional working knowledge of organizational learning and development trends and initiative that contribute to a meaningful employee experience;
- Intermediate knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred;
- Experience in Leadership Development Program Design & Delivery;
- Ability to produce quality outcomes within an environment with competing demands and tight deadlines;
- Demonstrated ability to manage and complete projects;
- Well-developed L&D design, delivery and facilitation skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment;
- Excellent time management skills to work effectively and efficiently towards deadlines;
- Ability to adapt and be agile in a complex working environment.
