Job Description As a Senior Consultant (Transport Planner) in our Mobility and Upstream Studies team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering multi-modal transport planning and transport advisory projects, supporting and coaching up-and-coming team members, and working collaboratively to support business development. You will be responsible for: Leading and/or undertaking the delivery of transport planning, strategy, advisory, and urban development projects for key clients across the private and public sectors Providing technical expertise and advice relating to transport planning and strategy across modes and sectors in such areas as business cases, land use/transport integration, stakeholder and public engagement, economic evaluation, investigations and analysis, impact assessments, design, public and active transport and strategic transport planning Developing high quality bids, client reports and other deliverables Undertaking supporting analysis for business cases and other necessary studies and projects for clients Supporting internal cross-team collaboration and internal briefs to integrate traffic engineering, modelling, operations and maintenance and other streams to support client objectives Managing the successful delivery of concurrent projects through the different stages of the project lifecycle and supporting the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects Building positive and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Building and maintaining strong external client relationships and contributing to the strategic growth of the transportation planning sector by identifying and securing related business opportunities with key and emerging clients Representing Egis publicly, providing thought leadership and increasing awareness of the local and global achievements. Qualifications Ideally, you will have 7-10 years prior experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment, in addition you will also have: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Urban Planning, Transport Planning, Geography, Economics, Data Analytics, Traffic Engineering or similar Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering transport planning, urban planning, placemaking, business cases, development and transport assessments for clients in the public and private sector Proven project management and project finance skills across full life cycle of projects Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving capability Demonstrated collaboration skills Coaching skills, advanced graphics skills, advanced data analysis and service offering development will all be highly regarded.
