Description

WANT TO HELP US HELP OTHERS? WE’RE HIRING!

GoFundMe is a global community of over 150 million people who come together every day with the common purpose of helping one another. Our mission is to help people help each other through our best in class technology. In 2022, GoFundMe joined together with Classy, a leading nonprofit fundraising software company that enables nonprofits to connect supporters with the causes they care about. Together, we have empowered people and organizations to raise more than $30 billion since 2010. Our vision is to become the most helpful place in the world.
As a Senior Content Designer at GoFundMe, you’ll play a key role in shaping some of our most mission-critical product initiatives. You’ll advocate confidently for clear, consistent, motivating language at the center of our design process.
We’re looking for someone with a background in UX content design crafting experiences for social media platforms (activity feeds, user-generated content, profiles, sharing) to help define an exciting new chapter for the business. You’ll also have a hand in developing our growing content design practice, helping evolve our processes and standards across the company.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE…

  • Lead content design on high-profile product initiatives as a part of a cross-functional product team
  • Partner with product designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, legal, marketing, and other writers.
  • Align your work with business goals, user needs, and our design system.
  • Advocate confidently for clear, consistent, engaging content for your product area at every stage of the product cycle.
  • Champion the discipline’s impact by proactively mentoring designers, PMs, and others to help them improve their UX writing skills and center content in their own processes
