The Senior Content Marketing Manager will lead the development, execution, and optimisation of Checkatrade’s content strategy across digital and offline channels. This role combines creativity with a data-driven approach to ensure content aligns with business objectives, engages the target audience, and drives measurable growth. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, collaborating cross functionally, and leveraging consumer insights, first party, and third-party data to shape impactful content strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is a plus

· 5-7 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a similar role. · Proven experience leading content teams, including designers, managers, and freelancers.

  • Expertise in creating content primarily for websites, with a focus on high-quality and engaging digital materials.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Brand, PR, social media, and Video to deliver integrated marketing efforts.
  • A growth-focused mindset, using consumer insights, first-party, and third-party data to drive strategy.
  • Familiarity with publishing processes and workflows.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and how they influence content performance.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to measure and optimise content.
  • Strategic thinker with a balance of creativity and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
