Job Overview The Senior Content Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the voice and visibility of SurePoint within the legal industry. This leader will craft strategic, compelling content—both written and visual—that attracts legal professionals, supports lead generation, and strengthens the SurePoint brand across all channels. This role works cross-functionally with the Communications, Product Marketing, and Marketing teams to bring ideas to life, drive measurable impact, and reinforce SurePoint as a trusted partner for law firms. Responsibilities and Duties Content Strategy & Creation Develop high-quality written and visual content tailored to legal professionals, firm leadership, and the legal recruiting ecosystem. Plan and manage content release schedules to maximize engagement and conversion and align with current demand generation campaigns. Reinforce the SurePoint brand through thought leadership, storytelling, and timely content. Work with product marketing and sales to create account specific or persona based messaging and content that supports the buyer’s journey. Repurpose core content into multiple formats (blogs, social media, video, email, etc.) to extend reach and impact. Support internal and external communications related to product launches and key initiatives. Leverage AI and LLM powered tools to accelerate content ideation, draft development, audience research, and competitive analysis while maintaining editorial quality and brand voice. Organize and label content in ways that help AI tools find it and deliver it to the right audience. Campaign & Project Management Organize and oversee multiple concurrent content projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Manage budgets, timelines, and performance outcomes for content initiatives and third party content partners. Support public relations and event marketing initiatives. Track and analyze campaign performance with a continuous improvement mindset. Brand, SEO & Market Awareness Strengthen SEO performance by optimizing landing pages, content assets, and targeted keyword strategies. Optimize content for AI and LLM powered discovery so they perform well in search, query-based retrieval, and generative AI influenced research behaviors. Stay current on legal industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing best practices. Ensure brand consistency and a professional, unified voice across all content and channels. Tools & Operations Administer content marketing tools and platforms. Maintain project documentation and content calendars. Contribute ideas and perspective in marketing strategy discussions. Monitor emerging AI/LLM content capabilities and recommend opportunities to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the content marketing function. Skills and Qualifications BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, English, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or a related role. Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills. Strong understanding of SEO and technical platform considerations. Experience working with AI or LLM assisted writing, research, or content optimization tools (preferred). Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working in an agile, collaborative, and distributed team environment. Comfortable conducting customer interviews and translating insights into compelling content. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern marketing tools. Experience developing promotional copy and consistent brand messaging. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing. Editorial mindset with strong audience awareness. Comfortable writing in a consistent, professional brand voice. Familiarity with sales pipelines, client lifecycle marketing, and CRM aligned content strategies. Experience creating content specifically for the legal industry (preferred). Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to generate original content concepts. Additional Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Marketo, Sprout Social, and WordPress (preferred). Minimal travel required (~10%).
