JOB INTRODUCTION

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint a Senior Content Officer, to join the Communications team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

• Creating high-quality, engaging video and digital content
• Telling powerful stories that support the Mayor’s vision and regional priorities
• Driving reach and engagement across our social and digital channels

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

This role will be pivotal in:

• Supporting the Mayor and senior leaders by capturing and sharing impactful digital stories from across the region
• Developing and delivering compelling video and multimedia content
• Ensuring content is aligned with brand, accessibility, and messaging guidelines
• Completing on-the-ground content creation at events, visits and engagements
• Providing insights and analytics to inform and evolve our digital communications strategy

This is a 6 month fixed-term role.
