SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for someone who brings a customer-centric mindset and a natural focus on solutions — someone who’s collaborative, resilient, and driven by results. You’ll be innately curious, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a creative approach to tackling complex challenges. In addition to this, you will have:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience across bid, proposal and RFP development and/or content marketing and/or content development in a B2B environment.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Highly organized with outstanding time management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and synthesise input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to build a deep understanding of target audiences and develop content that engages, informs, motivates and delivers results.
  • Experience in managing agency / supplier relationships.
  • Well-developed business acumen and comfortable building effective working relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior Content Specialist who’s a strategic storyteller — someone who can craft compelling narratives that win business, enhance brand perception, and support our biggest growth ambitions.
Reporting to the Content Marketing and Brand Strategy Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and editing high-quality, engaging content across a variety of channels. A key focus will be developing persuasive bid, proposal, and RFP responses that position FBNZ as a standout choice and drive commercial outcomes.
You’ll also contribute to the delivery of FBNZ’s broader content strategy — crafting purposeful content that connects with target audiences, supports key business initiatives, and elevates our brand across every touchpoint.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end production of FBNZ bid/tender/RFP submissions, ensuring all are customer-focused, clear, persuasive, on-brand, and highlight FBNZ’s full range of strengths and capabilities.
  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with client requirements and deadlines
  • Monitor key websites for announcements of new tenders, e.g. GETS and ensure search terms are kept up to date
  • Manage all tender documents, including version control, compilation, and user control.
  • Develop, write and edit a range of content (blogs, case studies, eBooks, whitepapers, video, etc) that aligns with our brand story, supports our point of view, and educates and engages our target markets
  • Assist with producing content designed to assist the sales process, e.g. product brochures, top of funnel sales presentations, video content, etc
  • Manage multiple content and proposal projects from concept to completion, ensuring high quality outputs are delivered on time and within budget
