Job Title: Senior Content Writer (AI Content)
Location: St Helens (Primarily Office-Based, Hybrid Options after Probation)
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum + Performance Bonuses
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven Track Record in Content Writing with experience across multiple platforms (web, social media, email marketing).
• Extensive Experience with AI Tools for content generation and optimization (e.g., GPT-based platforms).
• Editing and Proofreading Skills with a keen eye for detail and brand alignment.
• Team Management experience, ideally leading a small group of writers or content creators.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a flair for meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to commute to the St Helens office before starting employment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• AI-Driven Content Creation
• Write high-quality, original, and engaging content for various channels (web, email, social media, etc.) using AI tools as needed.
• Refine AI-generated copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Content Strategy & Collaboration
• Work alongside editors and marketing teams to create content plans that align with business goals.
• Participate in brainstorms and strategy sessions, contributing creative ideas and AI-driven insights.
• Quality Assurance & Editing
• Conduct thorough reviews of content for grammar, tone, and style, ensuring brand voice consistency.
• Provide constructive feedback to junior writers or peers to uphold high editorial standards.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Oversee a small team of content creators, providing guidance, performance feedback, and training on AI tools.
• Allocate tasks, manage timelines, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
• Research & Innovation
• Stay updated on AI writing tools and industry trends, consistently introducing new techniques or software to improve efficiency and quality.
• Conduct research to maintain factual accuracy and relevance in all content.
