You will support the Associate Director in continuous improvement initiatives, providing expert guidance and coaching to senior leaders and staff. This role offers the opportunity to implement advanced service and process improvement methodologies, ensuring long-lasting impact and value. Your responsibilities will include: Drive business improvement capability: Lead the development and implementation of advanced business, service, and process improvement methodologies. Provide expert guidance and coaching to senior leaders and staff across the university, ensuring the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement ensuring the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement, aligned to the CI program roadmap and maturity targets through to 2027. Lead business improvement initiatives: Lead high‑impact business improvement projects within a productivity improvement and value creation program from problem definition through to implementation, benefits realisation and handover, enhancing University processes, service delivery, operating models, and governance frameworks and delivering measurable value for students, academics, and staff. Embed sustainable improvements: Champion and implement strategic business improvements that align with the university’s commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring improvements are embedded, measured and owned by the business beyond initial delivery. Develop and deliver training: Design, develop, and deliver tailored training programs in business improvement methodologies to enhance university‑wide capability, supporting the progressive uplift of CI maturity over the life of the program. Who we are looking for You will be an experienced improvement professional with a passion for innovation, capable of leading strategic initiatives, developing and delivering training, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment to drive excellence within the university. You will also: Possess qualifications in Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or related fields. Have extensive experience in service, process, and business improvement. Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Exhibit a growth mindset with empathy, curiosity, and resilience.
