Senior Contract Analyst Location: Remote Compensation: $67,832.76 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Employment Type: Full-Time What you can expect as the Senior Contract Analyst at Fortress... The Senior Contract Analyst serves as the face of Fortress with respect to the negotiation of security contracts between clients and their vendors, as well as the review of Non-Disclosure Agreements. This role is central to the SCRM team's mission, developing contract negotiation matrices, reviewing vendor-proposed redlines, and responding to high-level vendor inquiries on behalf of federal and enterprise clients. The position demands a high degree of independence, cross-functional collaboration, and professional representation of Fortress's services. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned contract professional looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic cybersecurity environment with direct exposure to client stakeholders and executive leadership. Responsibilities: * Develop contract negotiation matrices with clients * Respond to contract negotiations with vendors * Review NDAs provided by vendors as well as redlines to standard NDAs * Supply NDAs ready for signature to the VP of SCRM * Ability to work cross-functionally internally and within the client TPRM, Legal, and Procurement departments * Consistently deliver on assigned workload, commitments, deadlines, and objectives while following established service level agreements in scope and leveraging appropriate tools, methods, frameworks, and professional standards * Continuously demonstrate the ability to work with minimal oversight while representing the services of the department with the highest level of professionalism * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * At least 5 years' experience reviewing third-party contracts, including cybersecurity requirements. * At least 5 years’ experience reviewing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). * Excellent communication skills (oral and written). * Basic cybersecurity knowledge; exposure to the information security field. * Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Proven organizational skills and confident ability to adapt to shifting business needs. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Ability to independently use and refine AI-driven prompts to enhance the quality, efficiency, and insight of regular work processes. Preferred Skills: * Knowledge of third-party risk management concepts or solid understanding of IT general controls and information security principles. * Understanding of industry-recognized compliance/risk frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and ISO 27001. * Familiarity with vendor security questionnaires (e.g., Standardized Information Gathering (SIG)) or other templates for third-party assessments. * Understanding of heavily regulated industries such as energy, healthcare, or financial services. Education: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience required.
