Responsibilities
  1. Establish and manage grants and procurement activities, as per the NT Government legislation, policies, frameworks and guidelines including:
  • Support negotiation of service level agreements with local governments, for-profit, and non-government providers where applicable and

contribute to the recommendation of services

  • Relationship and contract management
  • Acquittal processes
  • Finance management compliance
  • Initiate corrective action where required
  • Evaluate and report on the performance and outcomes of grants and contracts.
  1. Provide high-level advice to management regarding the planning, progress and delivery of projects to influence and enable informed decision making.
  2. Build and maintain partnerships and alliances with a broad range of stakeholders, across Government and Non-Government sectors and with Aboriginal
    Controlled Organisations.
  3. Work collaboratively as part of dispersed teams to ensure alignment with other activities and the delivery of evolving priorities.
  4. Preparedness to travel to regional and remote locations across the NT by light plane/4WD.
  5. Prepare High level documents including Ministerial briefings, executive memorandums, grant agreements, procurement documents, and reports.
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and projects ensuring alignment with the Department’s core business priorities and
    objectives.
