Job Description The position is part of a global procurement organization that provides contract and purchasing services to operational entities and subsidiaries worldwide. The team ensures global coordination of procurement processes and relationships with major suppliers. We are seeking a Senior Contract Engineer to join a team responsible for setting up contracts related to key activities in the energy sector, including: Seismic Acquisition Geotechnical and Geophysical Studies Drilling Well Equipment and Services (DWES) Drilling Rigs Marine and Air Logistics Services The initial focus will be on Drilling Well Equipment and Services (DWES). This role requires excellent organizational and negotiation skills in a complex, international environment, managing contracts worth several hundred million USD. Objectives and Deliverables: Lead Call for Tenders (CFTs): Conduct and manage tender processes on behalf of the business unit, ensuring compliance with internal governance and obtaining necessary authorizations. Collaborate with Technical Teams: Develop effective procurement strategies, optimize costs while maintaining quality and deadlines, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Risk Management: Perform risk evaluations for contracts and suppliers, establish mitigation plans, and ensure continuity of operations. Negotiation & Contract Drafting: Manage negotiations independently, draft contracts, and ensure proper validation and transmission of key data. Governance & Compliance: Ensure mastery of legal and fiscal aspects related to CFTs and compliance with internal procedures. Documentation & Archiving: Maintain accurate records for audits and controls. Stakeholder Communication: Anticipate and share blocking points, ensure effective communication with categories and stakeholders throughout the procurement process. Recommendation to Award: Prepare and present recommendations to decision boards. Qualifications Strong experience in contract engineering and procurement for large-scale projects. Proven ability to manage complex tenders and negotiations in an international environment. Excellent knowledge of contractual, legal, and fiscal frameworks. Strong organizational and communication skills. Previous experience in the energy sector is highly desirable.
