Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga.
We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:

  • No less than a University Degree in project management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline + 10 years of relevant experience demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • A recognized designation such as Cost Control Professional (CCP), Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS), Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in pre- and post-contract functions on airport or other large civil infrastructure programs.
  • Experience in Alternate Delivery Contracting and more specifically collaborative delivery models such as Progressive Design Build, CMAR or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian contract law.
  • Expertise in building construction, quantity surveying, contracts, procurement, and dispute resolution.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with experience in coordinating large groups and leading workshops.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
    Additional Information
Responsibilities
  • Oversees contract administration, including managing all contractual communications, issuing instructions, and processing variations.
  • Ensures compliance with contractual obligations across the program and provides guidance to program delivery teams to ensure they fully understand their responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with the Commercial Manager to develop and maintain accurate reporting on contract performance.
