Job Description You can make your mark as Senior Contract Manager by providing contractual support during the preparation and execution of projects of Boskalis and you will be responsible for contract administration. As Senior Contract Manager you will take the lead in complex and high-profile (joint venture) projects, while also supervising and training Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors. You will be part of the Contract Management team within our Business Legal department, providing guidance and advice on a wide range of contractual matters. You will support our business in various fields across the maritime industry, including Dredging and Offshore Energy. Your responsibilities as a Contract Manager Administer contracts by preparing and maintaining daily progress reports and event logs. Provide contractual and commercial support during the preparation, execution and closure of complex (joint venture) projects. Draft, review and negotiate (sub)contracts, variation orders, and claims. Draft and review correspondence with partners, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Collaborate with the Project Team, as well as the Insurance, Procurement, and Treasury department, and work closely with the (Senior) Legal Counsel involved. Enhance contract awareness within the Project Team. Mentor and supervise the Contract Manager(s) and Quantity Surveyor(s) assigned to the project. Your qualities and experience You can move ahead as Contract Manager if you have: Higher Professional Education (Master): Master’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university. Experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience. Extensive knowledge of standard international construction and maritime contracts (e.g. FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC, IMCA, BIMCO). Experience in an international maritime or civil engineering environment is preferred. Other requirements: Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Team player and strong communicator with a business-oriented mindset. Open to international assignments and willing to work on a rotational basis at project sites abroad.
