JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Sr Financial Analyst (Contract Specialist) manages the entire lifecycle of contracts for an organization, from creation and negotiation to execution and management. He or she will work closely with the legal department and operations team to oversee the contract management system, draft healthcare contracts, and manage the contract review and approval process within the Surgery Ventures Group of HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Collaborate with management and the legal department to draft, review and execute professional service agreements and other contracts:
  • Manage all approver accesses & contractor information, including creating, renewing or terminating contracts in the system.
  • Management of the system by following up with SVG Leadership to assure assigned tasks are completed within identified deadlines.
  • Collaboration with the ops counsel to manage and support all contract related needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract terms, expirations and renewals.
  • Attend key regional leadership meetings with legal team.
  • Lead and support SVG colleagues by offering training/development, coverage, as needed, and ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Facilitate comprehensive training for incoming leadership team members on the contract system:
  • Ensure training materials/manuals are up to date with current key information, contacts and processes
  • Ensure HealthStream training is up to date and assigned to new Administrators
  • Ensure completion of monthly and bi-monthly reporting:
  • Maintaining the contract log with current contracts and deadlines in process and communicate to various management
  • Maintain the real estate log and communicate to the appropriate personnel.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years financial, paralegal or contract experience
