QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education: bachelor’s degree in engineering advanced studies in standard forms of contracts, claims and Construction Law. Experience 5-10 years of Experience in Contracts Administration & Procurement   RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with the preparation of requests for proposals (RFP’s) for distribution to vendors and the preparation and  closure of contract documents. • Provide responses to subcontractors and suppliers bids, evaluation of proposals and assist with contract  negotiations. • Review the contract documents and analyze all requirements and provisions to prepare contracts risk analysis  and contracts obligations report. • Ensure that the requirements of the contracts are implemented and maintained throughout the Contract period,  in accordance with corporate guidelines and all warranties, bonds, insurances guarantee etc. are maintained and  updated. • Investigate issues/problems and recommends corrective action, advise on lessons learnt for all future contract  modifications. • Prepare correspondence and contractual management reports and maintain records necessary to ensure the  effective administration of all contractual matters. • Monitor the performance of each signed contract, prepare the Contract notifications, change requests, and follow  up the issuance of the relevant variation orders. • Prepare the contract close-out procedures to ensure that all requirements under the contract are effectively  implemented. • Review the subcontractor’s claims, provide the claim assessment report with recommendation, ensuring that the  Company’s interests are protected. • Participate in Bid Opening committee and assist in the evaluation and review of bid proposals. • Attend relevant contracts Meetings and record minutes of meetings. • Maintain a computer database for the Contractual Management information.  • Communicate contractual concerns to management and / or subordinates. • Maintain Schedules of all appropriate boiler-plate laws, regulations, and contract trends to determine potential  impact on the business. • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure all correct billing and collection of revenues. • Negotiate the Commercial/Contractual aspects of subcontract & services agreements. • Ensure that business goals are accomplished by contractual monitoring.   REQUIRED SKILLS: • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts. • Good knowledge of Contract administration and Commercial aspects, through pre and  post contracts stages. • Basic knowledge of contracts administration and quantity surveying, using industry best  practice in pursuance of all duties. • Basic Project Management Skills, including planning, scheduling, cost control and quality  functions. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to write correspondence, reports, and presentations. • Critical Thinking & attention to details. • Strong in MS Office. • Proficient in English.
