Senior Contracts Administrator - Western Power Maintenance Program Drive Improved Results with Strong Commercial Control UGL delivers some of Australia’s most critical infrastructure across resources, defence, transport, power and renewables. Within UGL, the Utilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) business focuses on keeping electricity networks operating safely and reliably through long‑term maintenance and operational programs. In WA, we deliver a Western Power maintenance contract covering distribution and transmission overhead maintenance across metro and regional areas, including pole replacements, line repairs and fault response. It’s a large, live program with ongoing delivery supporting WA’s electricity network. The Senior Contracts Administrator role is based from Canning Vale, and will soon move to a brand new facility closer to the airport and just 10 minutes from the city. Why this role Own and drive the commercial performance of a major oingoing maintenance program. Senior, autonomous role with hybrid working options. About the role You’ll take ownership of the commercial outcomes of the program, from payments and contract control through to actively supporting delivery teams to grow the business. Working closely with operations, you’ll influence decisions on a live program and see the impact of your work every day. This role is about taking ownership, protecting margin, improving performance and supporting sustainable business growth. Key responsibilities Own the head contract and downstream arrangements for the Western Power maintenance program. Manage payment claims, variations, notices and supporting commercial evidence. Deliver accurate cost forecasting, cost‑to‑complete and monthly commercial reporting. Support delivery teams to protect margin, manage risk and improve commercial outcomes. Oversee procurement and subcontract administration, maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and the client while identifying opportunities to grow the business. About you Currently operating as a Senior Contracts Administrator on complex, live programs, in the same industry. Strong experience in cost‑reimbursable contracts. Confident owning the commercial function and working autonomously with delivery teams. Proven ability to manage claims, variations, forecasting and commercial reporting. Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable driving improved contract outcomes.
