QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry.
  • Strong in arbitration and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding & knowledge of contracts law and its application.
  • Preferably well versed in various form of contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA and FIDIC as well as other international form of contracts.
  • Preferably conversant in using CostX and/or Glodon Cubicost measurement software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

  • Manage the financial & contractual of all projects from pre-tender to post contract phases including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accounts etc

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project costing
  • Develop suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements
  • Prepare project budgeting and costing reports
  • Responsible in cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparation, variations and final accounts.
  • Review of contracts, prepare tender & contract documentations, tender analyses & reporting, measurement etc
  • Review sub-contractors claims and materials on site
  • Standardize all agreements (e.g. subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy
