Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description Turner & Townsend are seeking experienced Cost, Commercial and Contract managers within our Energy & Natural Resources division. Successful candidates will be entered into our talent pool for consideration for future roles across the Transmission, Clean Energy, and Conventional Low Carbon & Mining sectors. Responsibilities Include: Proactively managing the development and delivery phases of projects to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations in relation to financial management. Managing Procurement and Tendering processes. Negotiating and agreeing contracts. Manage, develop and oversee the implementation of financial and commercial strategies. Management of contracts and commercial processes through to completion including: Ensuring compliance with all procurement policies and procedures. Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc. Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track. Conduct financial analysis to identify potential cost saving opportunities and forecast future project expenses. Identify financial and contractual risks, develop risk mitigation, and implement contingency plans and strategies. Variations and contractual change management. Final Accounts and contract close-out. Reporting of cost & commercial information to stakeholders of all levels. Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants. Managing internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract risk. Managing larger multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex projects and programs. Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion. Recognizing business opportunities. Building the business through engagement, marketing and tendering activities. Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally. Qualifications A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management or any other related fields. Experience in strategic sourcing for infrastructure and construction, preferably in the energy sector Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment. Advanced Microsoft skills are essential. Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
