Job Req Number:  111018Time Type: Full TimeThe primary purposes of this role are: To have a clear focus on performance management and improvement of operational efficiency while ensuring that service level agreements are fulfilled. Responsible for customer retention and for contributing to Key Account growth. To expand on customer relationships through shipment data analysis, continuous improvement and optimized service offerings proactively addressing concerns.   Key Responsibilities:  Leads shipment planning based on required cut-off date and updates order delivery dates in SAP Tracks the shipment status and manages the escalation of forwarders and/or carriers related issues Resolves shipping document discrepancy, manages claims on in transit loss/damage Provides real-time management for shipment delays and follow-up on urgent orders Acts as the point of contact for Freight Audit companies (CTSI) and DSV to improve on the current freight auditing process   Scope: Geography in scope: APAC incl China Air and Ocean shipments/bookings with all 3PLs: DSV , CEVA, DHL, Expeditors etc Location:  Singapore based. Ideally, sit in customer’s  office 2-3 days per week System /equipment access: ELC SAP access & laptop, email   Competencies: Effective communication skills and professional communication etiquette Ability to multi-task Familiar with continuous improvement methodology Decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and manage time Attention to detail and accuracy Organizational skills Perform well under pressure Customer focused thinking Process driven mindset   Experience & Qualifications: Has 5 years’ experience with a multi-modal (air & ocean) international logistics company in an operations or     client management role is preferred. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software required Knowledge of DB Schenker TMS (TANGO) is preferred Project and Change Management DSV – Global transport and logistics Working at DSV means playing in a different league.
