EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• University degree or the equivalent with a focus on finance and controlling
• Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills
• Comfort with working in both a team and independently demonstrating significant self-initiative
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP® products (e.g. SAP CO/FI, Business Warehouse)
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Good knowledge of IT business models
• Good time management with ability to work under stress and time pressure
• Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2-5 years of professional work experience with a focus on controlling and accounting processes

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Business Area Controlling (BAC) Sales is one of the forces to drive standardization and harmonization of Controlling processes and tools within the Controlling community of SAP. To achieve this, strong interaction and alignment with several Stakeholders like regional BACs, Specialized Controlling or Global Controlling units, etc. is key. Additionally, the BAC Sales (Controlling Cross team) is supporting the regional leadership teams in EMEA in management and steering activities. This includes owning the monthly forecast process as well as the annual budgeting and planning cycle.
To successfully manage these tasks and to further strengthen our support for our stakeholders we are looking for a (Senior) Controller with professional experience preferably from working in an international company.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Supporting month-end closing / quarter-end closing activities
• Forecasting and budgeting for Line of Business Sales with regards to headcounts, P&L etc. on regional level
• Proactive interaction and cooperation with regional stakeholders
• Reporting activities for different stakeholders
• Supporting projects on standardization and harmonization of controlling processes and tools
