JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an opening for a highly motivated Controller to join our Finance, Purchasing and Management Control Team at IRBM. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project or operational costs to ensure the organization operates efficiently and within the budget. The role involves preparing budget, tracking actual expenditures against forecasts through periodical reports and KPI’s analysis, identifying cost variances, and implementing corrective measures to control expenses and improve profitability for the Company and the Group
The individual will support the Management in evaluating and managing risks, publishing financial statements, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, and forecasting costs and revenues.

Knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting processes and financial statements rules;
Excellent analytical thinking: identifying problems and evaluate cause-effect relationship;
Working knowledge of written and spoken English;
Interpersonal skills and effective communication: understanding of the unique needs of different audiences;

Ability to building partnerships and working collaboratively
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office package with particular focus of ERP logic;
Previous use of Microsoft Navision and PowerBi systems is an advantage;
Experience with consolidated financial statements is considered a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in economics;
At least 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role in structured business contexts of mid size companies;
The position is based in Pomezia (RM).

Develop and maintain cost control systems, processes and documentation
Cooperate with Project Management, Business Development, Procurement and Finance to forecast and validate cost data;
Elaborate the economic-financial forecast being part of the preparation of the business plan;
Prepare and provide periodical reports and dashboards in timely manner with the identification of KPIs, budget allocation with related performance and deviations;
Monitor projects and operational budgets, internal controls and orders with dynamics costs allocation and indirect costs of structure, ensuring alignment with financial goals;
Assist in the development of cost estimation models for future projects;
Identify cost trends and variances, recommend corrective actions and support the management decision process providing investment, capex and ROI analysis;
Analyse and implement the inventory with the relative industrial accounting;
Participate to the preparation of the Financial Statements and Consolidated Financial Statements reports;
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations regarding cost reporting;
Participate to periodical audit process
