SENIOR CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT / CASE WORKER

We are working with a well-established law firm in Leeds City Centre that is seeking a Senior Conveyancing Assistant / Case Worker to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a firm that values quality, innovation, and career progression.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of three years of conveyancing experience.
  • Strong understanding of residential property transactions.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach to work.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

This position will support a dedicated conveyancing team, working on a broad range of sale and purchase transactions. You will work alongside solicitors and legal executives in a structured and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties throughout the transaction.
  • Managing routine correspondence, including ID checks, mortgage offers, and completions.
  • Handling Help to Buy (HTB) schemes, submitting forms for new build transactions, and liaising with Homes England.
  • Obtaining and checking redemption figures.
  • Preparing transfer documents and requisitions on title.
  • Ensuring files are prepared for completion once contracts are exchanged.
  • Keeping case management systems and portals updated.
