POSITION SUMMARY

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Accounting to join our dynamic Medicare Risk Adjustment Team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on ensuring accurate member eligibility verification and compliance with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) requirements.
The Senior Coordinator will support and help lead efforts in verifying member eligibility through portal lookups and outreach to other insurance carriers to obtain coordination of benefits (COB) information. This data is essential for accurate record submission to CMS. The role also includes maintaining financial reports, tracking ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) status, reconciling payments, and ensuring proper CMS reimbursements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, data management, or analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data filtering.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Medicare programs, ESRD, and MSP (Medicare Secondary Payor).
  • Familiarity with CMS systems such as MARX.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience required.
