This a grant funded contractual position. Responsibilities You will be responsible for overall coordination of assigned research projects which includes quality assurance of data collected and research work done, liaise with government stakeholders and granting agencies for diverse project matters, coordinate with multiple project leads for updates on ongoing matters and facilitate in the submissions of proposals and other reports as per the deadlines. Specific responsibilities include to: Ensure proper maintenance and administration of field offices which includes safety and security, housekeeping and maintenance; coordinate with different project leads regarding project admin issues in Sindh region; provide admin support in the planning, organizing and executing various events of the department in Sindh region; ensure that supplies, inventory and stock are distributed properly as per the requirement of project activities; also monitor that proper records have been maintained; coordinate with Karachi office for procurement of items and take follow ups; supervise and manage transport arrangements as per requirement of field sites in Sindh; make sure that proper records are maintained in logbooks; supervise the drivers and assign them duties accordingly; deal with security related issues of all field sites offices outside Karachi; deal with all the political issues and liaison with community stake holders for proper commencement of project activities; coordinate with HR for all HR related services for staff; monitoring the attendance of all field staff; ensure that the advance issued for field expenses are properly utilized; responsible for maintaining proper Petty Cash records and its utilization. Requirements You should have: Master’s degree in Business/ Economics/ Administrative Sciences or equivalent; 3 to 4 years of work experience preferably in managing field site; excellent Communication and coordination skills; good language skills in Sindhi, Urdu and English (both written and verbal); ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively; demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary team as a group leader, facilitator, or participant; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work under pressure with patience and poise; resilience and ability to cope up with work pressure and stringent deadlines; willing to travel and work in the communities / rural field sites.
