Job overview and responsibilities The purpose of the Coordinator position is to support the Human Factors and Pilot Development team, and pilots during training. Key responsibilities to include: Onboarding new hire pilots, coordinating class preparation, enrolling pilots in training programs, and assisting instructors with daily class activities. Supports pilots in training Verifies license and training documents Enroll training pilots in new computer based systems: Help Hub/TakeOff/ Pelesys/SharePoint Assist with distribution and updating HFPD iPads Accomplishes administrative tasks to support Human Factors’ classes and instructors Assists with class preparation and onboarding of new employees Coordinates classroom resources for classes and class visitors Maintain department inventory/supply list Coordinates Captain Upgrade logistics, agenda, and instructor scheduling Collates class survey data, training volume statistics, and training anomalies Qualifications What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent required 2+ years experience coordinating personnel resources and experience in project coordination Solid communication, organizational, and computer skills Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Associate’s Degree Scheduling/FOX experience, Aviation experience Knowledge of FARs and United Airlines pilot training requirements Budgetary experience Microsoft Office Suite, Pilots Records, iPad, The base pay range for this role is $53,960.00 to $70,334.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
