Responsibilities Develop, review and implement communication and engagement strategies and associated programmes, including branding and positioning, to support the railway projects assigned Work closely with the project team to communicate with multi-level external stakeholders, including the Government, Members of Legislative Council and District Councils, politicians, community, media and the public to enhance awareness and understanding of the railway projects assigned in a favourable way to solicit their support Liaise with relevant government departments on the communication and engagement strategies and plans of the railway projects Support corporate events and carry out other ad-hoc duties, including media on-call duties when required Requirements Degree in a related discipline A minimum of 12 years’ experience in corporate communications / journalism / public relations or relevant field, of which 4 years should be at a managerial or senior supervisory level Profound knowledge of local environment, media and community communication Good political acumen, communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work under immense pressure Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Remarks Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms Applications You are invited to apply online via http://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
