Description
Actively participate in and supervise the month-end close process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements. Review and validate journal entries and reconciliations. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing controlling team within GSSC. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or equivalent certification is an advantage. Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a global or shared services environment. Proven track record in managing month-end close and complex accounting processes. Excellent knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP accounting standards. Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to lead through change and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with automation tools and digital finance solutions is a plus. Experience in global shared services or multinational corporate environments. Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex financial data.
