Cisco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Ethics & Compliance Counsel to join our Global Ethics & Compliance team. This role will serve as a key advisor to regional leadership, helping to embed a strong culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director and Associate General Counsel, Global Ethics & Compliance, you will play a critical role in navigating the complex regulatory and compliance landscape of the region and ensuring adherence to Cisco's ethical standards. Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted advisor to regional leadership on compliance risks and mitigation strategies. Monitor, interpret, and advise on applicable regional laws, regulations, and compliance standards. Advise on and negotiate compliance provisions in commercial agreements. Advise on customer requests related to Cisco’s Ethics & Compliance program and commitment. Advise on and oversee regional Remediation post-investigation. Design and lead regional Ethics & Compliance training – virtual and in-person. Serve as a regional escalation point for high-risk Partner and Supplier due diligence findings. Lead quarterly regional Ethics & Compliance roundtables with control function and regional business leads. Manage and advise on Conflict of Interest (COI) Gifts, Travel and Entertainment (GTE) and Third-Party Due Diligence related escalations. Design and lead regional engagements with key external business partners. As needed/requested, partner with Investigations on policy enforcement matters. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution. 8-12 years of relevant experience in ethics and compliance, corporate law, or a related field, preferably within the technology sector. In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape in the EMEA region. Proven experience advising senior leadership on compliance matters. Strong understanding of compliance program design, implementation, and training. Excellent negotiation and contract review skills. Experience with due diligence processes and managing escalations. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment. Rigorous attention to detail.
