POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Background in corporate FX dealing, treasury sales, or financial markets with a commercial edge
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills with C-suite or senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in mechanics of all risk management tools with at least 2 years’ experience in building FX trading strategies with corporate clients
  • Relevant qualification for certification to enable selling of Structured FX Options (derivatives); CISI Level 3 Certificate in Securities and Level 3 Certificate in Derivatives. (Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice desirable but not essential).
  • Proven success growing a book of business through both service and networking
  • Strong grasp of FX trading products and global currency markets
  • Experience with Salesforce, trade capture systems, and CRM/BI tools
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with a strong sense of commercial ownership

Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Corporate Dealer to manage and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate clients. You’ll act as a trusted FX advisor, developing deep relationships and delivering tailored trading strategies aligned with each client’s goals and exposures. What sets this role apart is its close partnership with the Sales team — Sales will position your expertise as a value proposition during acquisition, enabling you to step into conversations early and convert insight into action. You won’t just manage a book — you’ll elevate the client experience, uncover new opportunities, and grow wallet share through trusted, strategic engagement.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Ownership

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value SME and mid-market clients with active FX needs
  • Develop deep understanding of client businesses, sectors, and risk exposures
  • Build long-term relationships that lead to retention, loyalty, and consistent trade volume

FX Strategy & Trade Execution

  • Provide advice on spot, forward, and structured products
  • Execute trades through Xe’s proprietary trade capture technology, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Monitor market developments and proactively alert clients to relevant movements and opportunities
  • Report MIFID trades through Fenics post transaction.

Collaborate with Sales to Drive Growth

  • Work closely with Sales, who will upsell your expertise as part of the client value proposition
  • Join early-stage conversations to shape solutions and demonstrate value before onboarding completes
  • Act as a consultative voice during complex onboarding, helping turn prospects into profitable, long-term clients

Grow Your Book Through Referral & Advocacy

  • Cultivate client trust that leads to introductions and warm referrals
  • Use commercial instincts and relationship depth to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Grow your client base organically by being known as a strategic, dependable partner

Performance & Insight

  • Own KPIs around trade volume, revenue, retention, and book growth
  • Use Salesforce and internal analytics tools to track performance and maintain accurate records
  • Provide feedback to Product and Marketing based on client trends and requests
