Description
GEK TERNA Group is seeking a: Senior Corporate Development Associate Key Responsibilities Supports the Director of Originations in originating, structuring and executing strategic infrastructure & energy investments and M&A transactions Conducts financial and commercial analysis for acquisitions, JVs and partnerships. Prepares preliminary valuation models, business cases and sensitivity analyses for target projects. Coordinates due diligence processes with internal functions and external advisors. Assists in structuring SPVs and investment frameworks (equity, debt, blended finance). Supports ongoing Heron–NRG integration and future corporate reorganizations. Monitors potential infrastructure & energy M&A targets, indicatively, in Greece and SE Europe and maintains target database. Prepares investment memos, presentations and Board material. Liaises with CFO, Treasury, Legal and Technical departments on deal execution. Qualifications & Experience Postgraduate University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Business. MBA is desirable. 4 to 8 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, project finance or energy & infrastructure M&A. Strong financial modeling, data analysis and valuation skills (Excel, Power BI, familiarity with IFRS is helpful). Proficient in utilizing presentation/reporting tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Canva etc.) Deep understanding of the energy, construction and infrastructure landscape. Excellent command of Greek and English (oral & written). Additional language proficiency is desirable (e.g. Spanish, French e.t.c) Excellent command/competency with modern AI tools.
