The Role
Senior Corporate Lawyer - Bilingual - Riyadh Join our dynamic legal team in Riyadh as a Senior Corporate Lawyer, where you’ll play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters. This position is ideal for a bilingual legal expert who is passionate about navigating complex legal frameworks and providing strategic guidance to our clients in both English and Arabic. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and contribute to high-profile transactions and corporate events. Responsibilities: - Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. - Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. - Conduct legal research and analyses to support corporate compliance and strategic initiatives. - Represent clients in corporate matters before government authorities and regulatory bodies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure complex business transactions and mitigate legal risks. - Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and reports to guide clients in decision-making processes. - Stay updated on changes in legislation and market trends that may impact clients’ operations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. - Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is essential; additional languages are a plus. - In-depth knowledge of local and international corporate law practices. - Demonstrated ability to negotiate and draft intricate legal documents with precision and attention to detail. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal data and present it clearly to clients. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building client relationships.
