Description

Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and monitor uniformed security staff to ensure high standards of performance, discipline, morale, welfare, and compliance with policies and safety requirements. Continuously review operations, investigations, and safety performance, and recommend improvements to prevent incident recurrence and enhance effectiveness. Ensure staff readiness for emergencies, major incidents, and special operations through appropriate training and competency development. Manage resources responsibly, including budgeting, financial control, administrative support, and achievement of departmental targets. Maintain effective liaison with internal and external partners and oversee site security inspections to ensure risk-appropriate controls are implemented. Requirements Degree holder in related disciplines A minimum of 5 years’ security-related working experience, of which 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional instituition such as Member of the Security Institute, Certified Protection Professional, Certified Member of International Professional Security Association is preferred Sound performance development and staff motivational skills in a difficult or complex situation Knowledge of basic risk management concepts and principles In-depth knowledge of criminal law and procedures, security/fire practices and systems.
