Description

Build, maintain, and grow relationships with occupier clients, retail developers, landlords, consultants, and contractors. Provide clear, accurate cost reporting and advice to clients and internal stakeholders. Advise on procurement strategies, value engineering, and risk mitigation. Process Improvement & Innovation Identify and escalate project risks and issues to senior management, recommending mitigation strategies. Mentor, coach, and develop junior cost management staff, supporting their professional growth. Promote knowledge sharing, best practice, and continuous improvement across the team. Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline. Professional Status: MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent chartered status. Experience: time served experience in cost management experience, with significant exposure to retail and occupier sectors. Proven track record in delivering fit-out, refurbishment, and new build retail projects. Strong client-facing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in relevant digital tools (e.g., CostX, CATO, MS Excel, Power BI). CSCS card holder.
