Description
The Opportunity Kent are seeking a Senior Cost Controller to join our Brisbane Projects team working on the Ampol Future Fuels Project. The Senior Cost Controller role will act as a primary focus for project cost estimating, tracking and analysis for one specific contract and project. This is an amazing opportunity to join a critical Australian infrastructure project which will be instrumental in reducing emissions and improving the environment. Your Day to Day will include: • Prepare project cost estimate of resources and other expenses through discussions with functional leaders in a timely manner using generic cost structure, which is suitable for cost tracking in the project life cycle. • Prepare cash flows by analyzing the timing of sales and costs. • Distribution of project related documentation. • Where applicable, carry out site measures with the Site Manager in accordance with contractual procedures. • Ensure timeous submission of invoices in accordance with provisions of contract. • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing for project cost reports and other cost related documents.Assist in preparing cost estimation, tracking and control procedure and continuously look at the ways of improving processes and revise procedure accordingly. • Ensure that areas of concern are highlighted relating to contract costs, sales and margins • To ensure participation in tender handover to construction meetings for new projects concerned. • Prepare CCS’s for the projects and update as required. • Compile monthly commercial reports. • Comply with company procedures in relation to commercial matters. • Assist the development of the company by developing contacts within the industry. About You: The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, strong organisational and change management skills and a track record of delivering results in dynamic environments. EcoSys and E7 knowledge will be a strong advantage. You will bring an analytical mindset, financial acumen, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential for achieving objectives and collaborating with stakeholders.
