Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Engineer who has prior experience managing the financial and cost reporting aspects of large-scale construction projects or programs. The ideal individual will have prior experience successfully managing and leading a team. Responsibilities: Supporting the development and implementation of cost reporting strategies for major construction projects. Providing specialist technical cost engineering advice to private sector clients across a variety of construction contracts. Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitoring project costs and ensuring they align with the approved budget. Conducting financial analysis and reporting on project performance. Supporting project billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and industry best practices (AACE) Building positive relationships within the project team and with Client personnel and their key advisors. Managing and updating internal financial trackers and supporting the financial capability of the project services function. Supporting the delivery of both teams and wider business targets. Supporting data visualization and reporting via digital dashboard and automation tools. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable Project/Program specific responsibilities: Market sector experience: Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Utility or other heavy industry experience required. Project/program size in dollar value: Demonstrated experience on projects or programs >$1BB Software specific requirements: SAP, Ecosys, Power-BI, Power Automate Certification requirements: Membership or certifications from AACE or similar preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, construction management, business administration or related work experience. A minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience in project cost engineering or cost management, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. Working knowledge and experience of various financial management systems and software. Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting, preferably with an EPC background. Experience in implementing financial strategies, including risk identification, quantification, and allocation. Proven ability to liaise with and coordinate multiple stakeholders to develop robust financial documents. Excellent communication skills.
