Description

Insight Xcite is seeking a professional and mission-driven Senior Cost Investigation Specialist to provide expertise in cost modeling, business planning, and financial analysis. This role requires a TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP)and extensive experience supporting cost recovery initiatives in a cleared government environment. The Specialist will design and implement business planning strategies, maintain cost recovery models, and deliver clear, actionable financial analysis to leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) — non-negotiable.
  • 13+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience managing complex projects and business operations.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain cost recovery models (Activity Based Costing, Fee-for-Service).
  • Proficiency in Excel or other cost modeling tools.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and cost structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform variance and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop products and services, pricing models, process mapping, system flows, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and integrated.
  • Proofread and analyze large amounts of data to ensure accuracy of system requirements.
  • Balance multiple complex tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders to anticipate needs.
  • Develop processes, strategies, and governance for standardized cost recovery models.
  • Assist in maintaining cost recovery models for mission partners.
  • Prepare and deliver clear briefings on cost models (e.g., Activity Based Costing, Fee-for-Service).
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of business planning for transitioning services to cost recovery funding models.
