Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description Responsible for total cost management of projects delivering positive outcomes for our clients Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with reasonable supervision and guidance Lead Cost Manager for new built project Provide Cost Advice and Cost Planning including estimate, comparative design studies, life cycle costing, turnover/cash flow projections, cost control and cost report during pre-contract period. Responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place Bulk check quantity measurement and lead project teams to prepare cost planning, bill of quantities, VE (value engineering) Lead Procurement process from pre-qualification, tender document, PTE, tender assessment, contract document To run the procurement process from all stages in pre-qualification such as quotation enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation and Lead Contract management (variation, payment, final account) Process improvement – Identifying ways in which internal systems and processes can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager Lead Cost control, cost studies, cost report and market survey for commercial aspects Provide CM role pro-actively and professionally and interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages Qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering or equivalent Minimum 10 -15 years' experience in related fields Excellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management duties including: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out Candidates with experience in Airport, Data Center, High-Tech Manufacturing experience are preferred.
