Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our Pre-Contract Cost Management team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of high-profile projects across sectors such as Residential, Leisure, and Master Plan developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage cost management efforts and ensure the successful delivery of pre-contract services.

  • Detailed knowledge of and experience in the real estate and property sectors working for a professional cost consultancy.
  • knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different cost management standards, value management, and value engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, a professional approach, and confidence in presenting to clients, other consultants, and project stakeholders are musts.
  • Ability to work with client personnel with confidence and assurance.
  • Solid experience and capability of pre-contract services from feasibility through to tendering, benchmarking, and pricing of buildings, and MEP works for estimating and preparing bills of quantities.
  • Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations
  • Producing pre-contract, estimate reports, cost reports, and ad-hoc reports and presenting them to the client.
  • Taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree qualified in quantity surveying or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Local experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cost-X is preferred.
  • BIM knowledge is preferred.
