ORE is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Bridge Loan Originator to drive loan origination across the U.S., with a strategic preference for Florida, the Southeast, and Texas. The role offers open geographic coverage, aligned with the originator’s existing sponsor and intermediary relationships. The ideal candidate will be based within their primary coverage market, enabling strong local market connectivity while operating within a national platform. Responsibilities * Originate senior bridge and structured CRE loans nationwide, with emphasis on Florida, the Southeast, and Texas * Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with sponsors, mortgage bankers, and debt advisors * Drive repeat business through institutional-quality execution * Maintain a visible, actionable pipeline and accurate production forecasts * Lead loan structuring including pricing, leverage, reserves, covenants, and exit strategy * Prepare deal summaries and present opportunities to internal credit committee * Negotiate term sheets and drive transactions through closing * Coordinate closely with underwriting, legal, and asset management/servicing teams * Act as a senior ambassador for ORE in the market * Provide origination-driven market intelligence on pricing, leverage, and sponsor behavior * Contribute to platform growth and product development for insurance and private fund capital Requirements * 10+ years of CRE loan origination experience, preferably in bridge or transitional lending * Demonstrated consistent annual production history * Strong credit, structuring, and negotiation capabilities * Ability to originate and execute transactions independently * Existing sponsor and intermediary relationships in Florida, the Southeast, or Texas * Experience originating loans retained for investment (not syndicated sales) * Entrepreneurial mindset with institutional discipline * Bachelor’s degree required Compensation Obra Real Estate offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, complemented by performance-based incentives tied to individual production. This role is based remotely, ideally to be located in the Southeastern United States with a specific focus on that territory .
