As a Senior Credit Analyst in our Specialised Business Services team, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers who are experiencing financial difficulty. You’ll work closely with Account Managers to manage a complex portfolio of sub‑standard and impaired Institutional Banking customers, helping them navigate challenging situations while supporting strong outcomes for both the customer and Westpac. You’ll be hands‑on with financial analysis, credit paper preparation, and customer discussions, becoming a trusted advisor in moments that matter. In this Sydney based role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, external advisers and frontline partners to ensure decisions are informed, fair, and based on high‑quality insights. This is a role where your attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to build strong relationships will help shape better outcomes every day. What do I need? You’ll bring strong analytical skills, a thoughtful approach to risk, and the confidence to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders. You’ll have: Experience preparing or supporting financial or credit analysis, from a financial institution, insolvency firm or professional services background. Ability to interpret financial information and identify risks, trends and insights. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Confidence building relationships with customers, internal teams and external advisers. High attention to detail, organisation and diligence in managing information and systems. Why join us?
