• Minimum of 5 years of credit analysis/credit risk experience within a bank.
• Bachelor’s Degree from any accredited University preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• Bilingual English/Spanish verbal/written required.
• Experience performing financial analysis to foreign companies and foreign banks to determine the merits of specific loan requests for Commercial Loans, Trade Finance, Commercial Leasing and Correspondent Banking Credit Facilities as well as experience in underwriting domestic C&I, Leveraged Loans, Shared National Credits and CRE.
• Experience monitoring collateral values, valuations dates and methodology.
• Good knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and compliance regulations in banking.
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Good follow-up and multi- tasking skill set.
• Proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel) and bank systems such as Bankway, AccuSystems, Moody’s Credit Lens.
