JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the credit control function, ensuring effective management of accounts receivable.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
