Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of credit hire claims from defence to settlement.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in credit hire case law and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, credit hire organisations, third parties, and solicitors, ensuring clients are informed about case progression.
  • Instruct counsel ahead of trials, applications, and conferences.
  • Review evidence to assess the prospects of success and the value of credit hire and other special damages.
  • Advise clients on case outcomes.
  • Draft necessary court documents and comply with court directions.
  • Negotiate settlements and ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
