About your role:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the Centrica Group C&I Credit Risk function. This key role requires strong financial expertise to conduct complex credit assessments across Centrica’s global portfolio. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders and operational teams, playing a vital part in managing credit risk proactively—supporting Centrica’s growth strategy while minimising the risk of bad debt losses.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE:
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for someone with an extensive experience in credit underwriting across both the UK and international markets. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to make well-justified credit decisions and communicate them clearly. A solid understanding of credit ratings, risk methodologies, and security documentation—such as Security Deposits, Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Credit Insurance—is essential. Experience working with multi-agency reference reports and Companies House data is also important.
We need an independent thinker and decision-maker who can contribute to the success of the Global Risk Team. Strong communication and presentation skills are key, as well as a proven track record in managing counterparty risks within large financial organizations. A passion for global economies, financial markets, and credit risk, along with experience in Credit Insurance, Banking, or the Energy sector, will be highly valued.
