Join us as a Senior Credit Risk Manager within the Consumer Division, supporting our Consumer Finance business. What’s the role? As part of the First Line Credit Risk team, you’ll lead the development, testing and implementation of credit policy strategies using Strategy Manager and Power Curve. You’ll act as a subject matter expert in automated credit decisioning, guiding stakeholders on policy changes and business rule impacts. A core part of your role will be improving credit processes to enhance customer experience, monitoring portfolio trends, and ensuring robust documentation and governance. You’ll collaborate with data, analytics and business teams on strategic initiatives while staying across regulatory changes and industry developments. This is a hands‑on, analytical role where you’ll influence decisions, optimise risk‑return outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio. This is a permanent full‑time role and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide. What do I need? We’re looking for someone who brings: Experience in designing, building, implementing and testing credit policy changes across credit decisioning systems (essential) Strong understanding of Australia’s retail credit and consumer finance landscape, with experience in retail credit risk and local regulations, personal lending knowledge (desirable). Analytical skills with capability in data extraction and analysis using Strategy Manager, Power Curve, SAS, SQL or R (essential) High learning agility, intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail. Strong stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal communication, including preparing clear approval memos. Why join us?
