Job Description We are seeking a Senior Crowd Transport Modeller to join our innovative team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced crowd simulation models for large-scale transportation projects in one of the world's most dynamic urban environments. Develop and maintain complex crowd simulation models for various transportation scenarios Analyze and interpret large datasets to inform transportation planning decisions Lead project teams in the design and execution of crowd management strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate crowd modeling into broader transportation plans Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in crowd simulation and transportation modeling Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices Ensure all models and analyses comply with local and international standards and regulations Qualifications Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field 7-10 years of experience in transportation planning and modeling, with a focus on crowd simulation Advanced knowledge of crowd simulation software and transportation modeling tools Strong proficiency in GIS software and data analysis techniques Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects In-depth understanding of crowd behavior dynamics and urban transportation systems Experience with large-scale crowd management projects, preferably in urban environments Professional Transportation Planner (PTP) certification or equivalent is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly Innovative mindset with a track record of developing creative solutions to transportation challenges Familiarity with local transportation regulations and standards in the UAE is a plus Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
